An introduction
to the study and practice of philosophical argument, focusing on some traditional
philosophical questions: What determines the difference between right and
wrong? Do we have an obligation to obey the law? Is there a world external
to me? If so, how could I ever have knowledge of it? The goal of the course
will be to develop skills in understanding and criticizing philosophical
arguments.
